FIELD: endoscopy. SUBSTANCE: rotary-link chain is made as group of external rings. This chain is bent to any side by tensioning of one of four rods-cables. Rods are passed inside guides as cable jackets and coupled to any control mechanism. Cable jackets in first ring group are positioned one opposite other. They couple two rings of group through soldered joints. In second group of rings cable jackets are also arranged opposite to each other. They connect two rings of group through soldered joints and are staggered with respect to jackets of first group. Rods-cables are secured with one end on first external ring for bending the distant end of endoscope to any side by tensioning. EFFECT: higher reliability in operation, improved mechanical qualities, longer service life, simplified construction. 2 dwg
