FIELD: medical engineering, particularly, endoscopes. SUBSTANCE: presence of one member for control of independent bending of endoscope distal end in two orthogonal planes is a distinguishing feature of proposed device. Said feature is ensured by the fact that mechanism of control of tension ropes is in the form of flexible tube whose diameter exceeds diameter of bent end of endoscope. Due to such form of device, endoscope bending is effected by manual bending of control member itself. In special instance, control device is made in the form of group of rings interconnected by hinges.
