FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with an impact by gaseous nitrogen upon synovial membrane for 7-10 min at the temperature from minus 100 to minus 120 C which is supplied by a tube of cryoapparatus directed through an external-lateral cut into articular cavity. At the same time an excessive amount of nitrogen is removed via a tube inserted into a joint from a cut along its internal-lateral surface. EFFECT: higher efficiency to shorten therapy terms.
