METHOD FOR WHOLE WARMING-UP OF HUMAN ORGANISM Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2112471 C1

FIELD: medicine; thermals methods for treating various diseases of human beings by artificially rising body temperature above 43 C. SUBSTANCE: patient is narcotized, followed by processing to preparatory operations preceding warming-up procedure. For this purpose the following medicaments are administered to patient in succession: pyridoxine is injected intravenously dropwise in a dose 5-8 mg/kg of body weight, 40-% hexamethylene tetramine solution, intravenously drop or jetwise in a dose 0.1 ml/kg of body weight, and oily alpha-tocopherol solution, subcutaneously in a dose 10 mg/ml of body weight. Before injection, 40-% hexamethyleme tetramine solution is diluted with 5-% glucose solution containing 30-40 mmoles of potassium chloride. Warming-up of patient's body is effected in hot water with temperature 44-46 C. Before plunging the patient into water, patient is narcotized deeper by administering sodium hydroxybutyrate in a dose 100-200 mg/kg of body weight. In addition, in process of warming-up procedure, hexamethylene tetramine is administered to patient intravenously drop- or jetwise in the form of 40-% solution diluted with 5-% glucose solution in a dose 0.1 mg/kg of body weight. EFFECT: new effective method for thermal therapy. 6 cl
