FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying typical recession of internal musculus rectus through vertical incision. Conjunctiva is cut above the places of attachment to musculus rectum superior, inferior and exterior. Exterior portions of both vertical muscles are selected and fixed with ligatures and cut off from sclera and separated from the rest portion of muscle to a depth of 10-12 mm. Ligature ends are passed under the conjunctiva flaps. Distal ends of both flaps are brought to a place under the tendon of the musculus rectum exterior close to the place of its attachment to sclera and then, the ligatures are tied. The ligatures are brought through muscle tendon to its external surface where they are tied together. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 1 dwg
