FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at strengthening sclera in cases of progressive myopia and also at using in scleroplastic operations and in cases of other pathologic conditions of eye. To provide stable sclera-strengthening effect, reinforced transplant from biological tissue (e.g. allosclera) is proposed as plastic material. Transplant is stitched by thread of biocompatible synthetic sewing material (e.g. kapron, polyester, or lavsan) to form grid structure with 1.0 x 1.0 mm cells.
