FIELD: military machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of retrieving machines from danger zone with crew staying in machine. According to proposed method, explosive is arranged on towing rope and is connected by conductor with inner part of retriever and towing rope is connected with machine by moving retriever and lever operated from retriever, towing rope is relieved from lever when rope is taut, machine is towed and towing is stopped by blasting the explosive from retriever. Proposed device has towing rope connected with retriever and foot with lever operated from retriever and installed on retriever body. Towing rope is arranged, in its turn, on free end of lever and on foot and is installed with possibility of relieving from lever and foot when being tightened up. Container with space for accommodating towing rope and explosive is secured on said rope. Container is provided with hole for conductor connected with inner part of retriever.
