FIELD: public services, chemistry, petroleum chemistry and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: melted slag is built up in slag catcher and lower part of device body above level of tuyere belt. Oxygen-containing gas is fed through tuyere belt. From top melted slag is charged through a hole-waste and carbon-containing fuel. Slag and gas produced in waste processing are discharged through respective holes. Produced metal melt is discharged through a duct made in form of a siphon; upper edge of siphon inlet on side of working cavity of slag catcher is located below tuyere belt by 8 to 50 d, where d-tuyere nozzle diameter.
