METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF QUALITY OF HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINAL PREPARATIONS AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is based on optical measurements and realized with the aid of device by illumination of tray contacting medium being examined with coherent linearly-polarized optical radiation. Tray is positioned in permanent magnetic field of Helmholtz coils. Scattered radiation passes through diaphragm with two holes, optical analyzer and gets on photoreceiver connected to computer. Multiple dilution of homeopathic medicinal preparation which does not contain its molecules is taken for medium to be examined. Scattered radiation is registered by accumulation of intensity values of its polarized component in mode of optical displacement from different points of medium being examined for 10-50 min. Quality analysis is performed by calculation of frequency spectrum of superflow fluctuations of scattered light intensity and comparison of its with standard sample. Comparison can be performed in stepped mode with alternate illumination of samples. In this case second optical route is formed for standard sample by means of beam splitter.
