FIELD: systems for tension winding of flexible members, mainly metallic bands. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes winding drums and sleeves mounted successively and alternatively on central drive shaft with lengthwise slot. Said drums have lateral guides. Each sleeve has dent placed in said slot of central shaft and portion with increased friction factor. Said portion is in the form of discrete members secured to recesses on lateral surface of sleeve. Apparatus also includes adjusting unit in the form of clamping member and compression springs. Said discrete members may be elastic ones and made, for example, of rubber. Such structure provides automatic control of winding effort for all drums simultaneously. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 2 dwg
