FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to crane-manipulator set with reciprocating motion of extendible sections of telescopic boom fitted with various separable mounted and stationary electric engineering aggregates such as crane balance, lighting fixtures, cradle to lift attending personnel and so on. It deals with equipment to lay cables from stationary section to mobile end section of telescopic boom. Gear includes tension drum with spiral return spring to take up cable put on shaft anchored on stationary section of telescopic boom and multichannel sliding current collector built into internal space of shaft which non-rotary connector is joined to body of mentioned shaft and which rotary body is linked to tension drum. Simpler kinematics as compared with known analogs is realized in proposed gear as well as structural implementation of tension drum with spiral return spring, electric communication paths and fourth. Simplified design of gear, its improved technical and operational characteristics which is verified by corresponding computations and results of experimental test of key decisions on optimization of design are technical result of proposed invention.
