FIELD: electrophysical method of metal machining. SUBSTANCE: in pulse generator for electric erosion machining there are employed inductive energy accumulators having primary , secondary and control windings. Inductive accumulators store energy from power supply source through charge keys having control circuit composed of master generator, current pickup and unit controlling charge keys. Under mode of energy release inductive accumulator liberates it into interelectrode gap and if it is not punctured returns accumulated energy into power supply source through discharge keys. During pauses between pulses of working current formed by closure of power key shunting control winding of inductive energy accumulator the latter is under mode of storing of energy with little losses. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of pulse generator. 1 dwg
