FIELD: crystal growing. SUBSTANCE: inside vertically oriented, sealed cylindrical crystallizer, a float freely floating on the surface of solution is placed, central position of the float being ensured by a system of constant magnets disposed axially inside the float and outside crystallizer. Magnets generate centering magnetic field, and reversing motion of float is provided by rotating external magnetic field outside crystallizer. A platform with inoculating crystal is suspended on the float. Weight of growing crystal or concentration of solution are evaluated in noncontact mode from the measured depth of the float immersion into solution. EFFECT: accelerated process and facilitated crystal growth control. 3 dwg
