FIELD: monocrystal growing; rapid growing of water-soluble crystals for nonlinear optics. SUBSTANCE: crystal growing is accomplished at a constant growth rate from a T-shaped point seed crystal rigidly secured in the cavity of the platform by increasing the super- saturation at a decrease of the aqueous solution temperature in accordance with dependence. The solution is preliminarily superheated at a temperature of 75 to 80 deg. C for 1 to 3 days at uninterrupted agitation. The rate of crystal growth is up to 40 mm/day.
