FIELD: metallurgy; heat treatment of cold-rolled sheet. SUBSTANCE: tower-type furnace is additionally provided with scrubber for moistening of protective gas with water circulation system and unit for regulation of moisture content in gas after scrubber including thermometer, indicator and regulator of voltage supplied to electric heaters of water used for spraying of scrubber attachment from atop; measuring devices of moisture content and oxidizing potential of atmosphere in furnace working space. Sets of measuring devices of flow rate of protective gas; system of branching of moist protective gas including vertical standpipes with side horizontal branches with valves supplying protective gas to holes located on side walls of heating and soaking chambers at several levels over furnace height, and horizontal pipe-collectors installed below the chambers between strip passages and having round and slotted holes facing metal and furnace arch. EFFECT: provision of furnace design to conduct in one unit of recrystallization, annealing of steel strip at temperature 660-700 C and decarburizing annealing of plate, automobile body sheet, kinescope steel and steel for enamelling to provide for final content of carbon in metal of 0.003-0.005%. 4 dwg
