FIELD: medicinal immunobiotechnology. SUBSTANCE: tetanus antitoxin is analyzed by enzymoimmunoassay analysis by ligand immobilization on polystyrene followed by incubation of sample to be tested on it, treatment with immunoenzyme conjugate and result recording by colorimetry. Reference serum and diluted analyzed sample are incubated in the presence of tetanus antigen. Antitetanus antibodies are used as ligand and immune conjugate and result is recorded by the formula: A = ST where A - activity of antitetanus antibodies in sample, IU/ml; S - specific activity of reference serum. IU/ml; T - dilution of tested sample interpolated for reference serum extinction. Invention can be used in production and control of preparations containing tetanus antitoxin.
