FIELD: apparatus for applying liquids or other fluent materials. SUBSTANCE: valve drive is made of a piezoelectric element connected to a voltage source and having two elastically installed and parallel to each other piezoelectric piles for rolling motion in the area of joint to the rocker fixed base. The rocker free end is coupled to the valve link. The piezoelectric piles are positioned on the other end of the rocker on the side of its joint to the base at the same distance on both sides of the axis passing through the joint for alternate action on the rocker. The rocker is joined to the base by means of flexible coupling of cross-piece and through a gap separately from it on both sides. Each piezoelectric pile is glued to a connecting part linked with the rocker as a unit by means of a flexible narrow cross-piece. The body is made up of two sections with a separating layer between them, through which a rod-like valve link is passed. The valve drive is located in one section of the body. The value opening is positioned in the other section of the body. It has a thermostated duct for fluid medium. The valve link has a flexible universal joint located across the rocker longitudinal axis. The head is furnished with a flexible closing plate adjoining the ends of piezoelectric piles distant from the rocker. The head is also furnished with a charging pumping set located between the voltage source and piezoelectric piles to reduce the consumption of energy and for complete exchange of charges. The charging pumping set is furnished with intermediate accumulator made up of a coil and capacitor, transformers to provide action on the intermediate accumulator and piezoelectric piles, and with a programming control unit to provide determination of recharging processes. The value drive is furnished with a device for measuring the motions and made in the form of a fixed printed - circuit board and two coils to pass current and attached to it at a distance from each other. The rocker has a tonguelike continuation positioned between the coils. The printed - circuit board is positioned in a recess made in the rocker base. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 10 cl, 4 dwg
