FIELD: check tapes. SUBSTANCE: roll of check tape is inserted in feeding device and its free end projecting from hole of tape feed mechanism is used as grip for unreeling the tape in proportional with force applied which cause break of paper insert between separate checks. tape has tongue-shaped valves and valve holes holding the adjacent checks and collars connecting two adjacent checks at definite pitch. Collars pass across longitudinal axis of check tape. Adjacent checks are additionally connected by means of strip which keeps plane of valve from deviation from plane of check tape, thus excluding seizing of check tape feed mechanism.
