FIELD: electrothermics. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to induction installations fed from thyristor frequency converter with limited level of output voltage from 250-300 V. Proposed gear is equipped with thyristor frequency converter, bank of compensation capacitors, two-section inductor having sections of different length. Inductor sections are made with parts protruding with reference to end faces of radiator. Inductor section of bigger length has smaller protruding part than section of smaller length. Short section of inductor is connected in parallel to thyristor frequency converter and both inductor sections connected in series are connected in parallel to bank of compensation capacitors.
