FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: brown sulfurous dye is prepared by reacting 2,4,6-trinitrotolulene (trotyl) with sodium polysulfide in aqueous medium at 110-112 C for 23-24 h. Method makes it possible to produce intensive coloring which is resistant to physical and chemical effects. EFFECT: simplified technology. 1 tbl
