TEMPLATE FOR PIPES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: bore-hole drilling and operating appliances. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for checking passability of bore-holes in operation of various purpose wells. Template has body with connecting sleeves. Located on outer surface of template are calibrating members and stops which are fixed to prevent axial displacement. Stops are displaced relative to each other through value which exceeds height of calibrating members which are installed between stops for possible axial displacement and interaction with end faces of stops. Used in function of end stops are connecting sleeves. Application of aforesaid template improves efficiency, cuts material and labour expenses in releasing template in case of its sticking, and affords possibility for straightening deformed pipe string.
