ROOM CROSS-PIECE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for gymnastic exercising in home conditions and in gymnasiums. SUBSTANCE: room cross-piece is carried by cantilevers connected with brackets for rotation in vertical plane. Brackets have channel-shaped section and provided with holes made in supporting part and vertical wall. Holes are adapted for receiving attachment members and mounting pins. Each cantilever retainer in its horizontal operating position is pivotally connected with its one end to cantilever and with its other end cooperates with bracket in the region above cantilever rotation axis. Room cross-piece may be mounted in any place on vertical surface without necessity for providing special fitting sites and additional equipment. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced labor intensity for manufacture of room cross-piece, reduced weight and sizes and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 dwg
