FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: effectively detoxifying toxic wastes is accomplished by placing organic and inorganic wastes into confined space in the form of alternating layers or a mixture with weight ratio of mentioned wastes from 2:1 to 10:1, adding anaerobic (methanogenic) microorganisms, sealing the space, and maintaining content of water in waste mass at least 0.55%. Because of metabolic processes, combination of toxic metal compounds with protein compounds produces environmentally less dangerous water-insoluble chemical complexes and biogas.
