FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: contaminants are sorbed by mixing filtrate with a sorbent in form of an aqueous suspension of a powdered mixture of tripoli M-80 and chemically modified tripoli. Residual contaminants undergo decantation and coagulation in a decantate by mixing with an aqueous suspension of mineral coagulants and then filtering on a granular fill. The sorbent used is 1-10% aqueous suspension of a mixture of natural mineral material tripoli M-80 and chemically modified tripoli in ratio of 1:(0.1 -1.0) wt %. The coagulant used is 0.1% aqueous suspension of potassium alum KAl(SO₄)₂·12H₂O taken in amount of 1-59 g/l. The granular fill used is Tripoli M-80 in form of granules and the size of granules is such that the flow of filtrate is constant and equal on all stages of the process.

EFFECT: higher environmental safety with high degree of purification of complex multi-component effluents and reduced costs on purification.
