FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: air cushion vehicle has body with side crawler propellers of movable flexible side guards made in form of cylinder type tracks open to air cushion space and installed on tension drums secured on chain transmission with traction chains coupled with drive. Upper and lower branches of tracks are divided by plate secured on housing hinge-coupled by longitudinal levers with body. Vehicle has gyro device consisting of two axial flow fans and two superflywheels secured on axle and set into operation through reduction gears by engine installed on frame hinge coupled with vehicle body. According to proposed invention, vehicle has end face guards consisting of open-type segments secured in the middle of end faces by upper edges to body base outside air cushion, and connected by other edge to body bottom inside from below. End face guards adjoining crawler propellers can be made in form of open-type segment members pointed inwards the air cushion from below at the end faces and can be connected by upper edges in pairs at front and rear to ends of housing.
