FIELD: methods and devices for thread stretching. SUBSTANCE: method includes stretching of threads, in particular, those made of thermoplastics with heat treatment for improvement of their properties. Temperature of thermostat is controlled on the basis of signal of thread tension force produced in zone of stretching or after it. The device for thread stretching has thermostat for heat treatment of thread. Found in zone of stretching or after it are devices for measurement of actual value of thread tension force and electronic processing unit for conversion of deviations of obtained actual values from preset ones into correction signals. The unit is connected with device for measurement of thread tension force and with temperature control of thermostat by means of signal line.
