FIELD: mechanical engineering; sampling of exhaust gases. SUBSTANCE: in proposed method samples of exhaust gases are taken and transported for analysis along heated main line. Main line is heated by engine exhaust gases. Preset temperature is maintained by delivering required amount of exhaust gas. Gas intake is installed in device behind engine turbine and pipeline. Main line is arranged in pipeline with clearance to form space communicating at input with gas intake and at output, through controlled cock, with ambient atmosphere. EFFECT: simplified system of sampling, enhanced reliability in operation, reduced power taken for engine tests. 2 cl, 2 dwg
