METHOD OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN ELECTRIC FURNACE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2115154 C1

FIELD: chemical industry: metallurgical industry. SUBSTANCE: quantity of electric power spent by furnace heater during first cycle of control and first cycle duration are measured. Measurement results are used for calculation of heater equivalent power in front cycle. This power is taken as present one form beginning of second cycle up to present moment at which heater power and actual quantity of electric power are measured. Then preset quantity of electric power is calculated. Power at present moment of second cycle is compared with preset power. Comparison results are used for forming of auxiliary control signal law. Preset and actual quantities of electric power are compared, and auxiliary control signal law is formed on basis of comparison results. EFFECT: higher accuracy of maintaining temperature on preset level. 2 dwg
