FIELD: automatic control of temperature or other parameter of manufacturing objects in chemical, metallurgical and other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring quantity of electric power in automatic control cycles, calculating equivalent power of heat source using it as set value; measuring temperature of reaction mass in apparatus, liquid heat transfer agent in heating jacket, temperature of inner and outer surfaces of all walls of apparatus, of medium around apparatus; determining heat transfer factors of wall surfaces, calculating heat fluxes, proportionality coefficients, actual values of equivalent power; comparing real temperature value of reaction mass with predetermined temperature value; applying signals proportional to differences of actual values of equivalent power, of temperature values of reaction mass and their predetermined values to power and temperature controllers forming signals acting upon heat source according to given laws.
