FIELD: production of heat energy by using hydrogen isotopes as working medium. SUBSTANCE: source of hydrogen isotope atoms and material of crystalline structure capable of retaining hydrogen isotope atoms within its structure are used for heat energy generation. Energy is supplied to introduce atomic flow in material. Atoms are compressed in crystalline structure of material at the same time maintaining its integrity to desired level at which excess heat is generated. Chemical potential of material saturated with hydrogen isotope atoms should exceed threshold value to ensure excess heat release defined as released heat exceeding heat equivalent of dissolution of hydrogen isotope atoms in material. Atomic concentration in crystalline structure of material should exceed that in material hydride at normal pressure. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 77 cl, 39 dwg
