FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: preselector switch designed for nobreak changing of tapped transformer winding taps is made as separate unit mounted in its individual case. Preselector fixed contacts circular in shape are disposed around rod in different planes inside insulating cylinder. They are closed by means of preselector contact jumpers secured on operating rod to radially springing contact members. Preselector is mechanically designed so that it can dispense with complicated guide for its operating rod carrying contact jumper.
