METHOD OF USE OF GASEOUS-DISCHARGE LAMPS IN GREENHOUSE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: creation of light conditions in greenhouse required for plants of cultivated crops. SUBSTANCE: method consists in check-out of lamps before their use with the aim of revealing external defects and accordance of their characteristics with the incoming control parameters, rejection of lamps with external defects and deviations revealed in incoming control, arrangement of the remaining lamps in groups for inclusion in the irradiating unit and their use during the period corresponding to the cycle of vegetation of plants cultivated in greenhouse. In addition, in the process of check-out of gaseous-discharge lamps their parameters of spectral composition of radiation are determined for compliance with the rated values of this parameters for plants cultivated in greenhouse, and groups in the irradiating unit are arranged of lamps with similar parameters according to spectral composition of radiation. Incoming control prevents use of lamps with intolerable parameters. EFFECT: enhanced service life of lamps, maintaining of parameters of radiation conditions in the greenhouse at specified level required for cultivated plants in the current stage of vegetation development.
