FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to agriculture, in particular to the field of greenhouse crop sector. In method light sources (LS) are evenly distributed between phases of supply grid, areas for installation of LS are marked along supply line. Actual value of supply voltage is detected in areas of LS installation, and actual time of LS running time is defined. At the same time prior to operation, a representative sample is created from batch of light sources of this type, and its resource tests are carried out. In process of resource tests dependence is identified between energy intensity of plant radiation system on supply voltage for LS with various running time. Then functional relation is established between optimal value of supply voltage and running time of LS, which provides for minimum values of found energy intensity at any moment of time. Light sources with running time, having minimum value of radiation system energy intensity are selected for installation in marked areas along supply line.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce energy intensity of plant radiation system in process of their growth with ordered layout of light.
