FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: substrate containing milled bark and mineral additions has additionally zeolite of heulandite-clinoptilalite form (fraction 0.5-3.0 mm) at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: milled wood bark with mineral additions 90, and zeolite 10. Indicated mixture can be used as composted form under aerobic conditions for 2-3 months. Invention can be used for production of substrates for hothouse and greenhouse farms from forest-industrial complex waste processing. EFFECT: improved quality, enhanced effectiveness of substrate, improved growth and nutrition of plants. 2 cl, 1 tbl
