FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method for obtaining a substrate for growing crops based on the modified bark of coniferous tree species is characterized by the fact that it includes grinding the bark of coniferous tree species to a particle size of 0.5 - 1.0 mm, its modification by treating the bark with a mixture consisting of an aqueous solution of sulfuric or nitrogen acids with a concentration of 0.3% or sodium hydroxide with a concentration of 0.3% and an aqueous solution of formaldehyde, when heated to 50°C for 15 minutes, then the bark is filtered, washed with distilled water to a pH of 5-6, dried in an oven at a temperature of 50°C for 1 hour and impregnated with complex water-soluble mineral fertilizer "Lux" for days, air-dried to an air-dry state and mixed with soil in an amount of 25-75 wt.%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to develop a more rapid, less energy-intensive method for obtaining an effective substrate based on the bark of coniferous tree species.
