FIELD: control of gear ratio; transfer devices. SUBSTANCE: two drive rollers fitted with flexible rims are immovable fixed on input shaft. Group of cones coupled by bases is mounted in one rim and are inclined towards axis of input shaft at angle equal to half angle at vertices of cones in such way that inner generatrices of one groups and outer generatrices of other groups of cones become parallel to axis of input shaft. Group of cones is in contact with two drive rollers and with embracing rims of flexible friction transmission. Embracing rims are mounted in larger wheels. One wheel is fixed in transformer housing; other wheel is connected with output shaft. Round tubular gear rack is a loose fit on input shaft and is secured on holder with cones. Rack is thrown into engagement with gear wheel mounted on axle with handle located on the outside of housing. EFFECT: reduction of limiting gear ratios at forward motion and reverse motion of output shaft; automatic control of gear ratio; calculation of definite parameters of transmission. 4 cl, 5 dwg
