METHOD OF RADIO NAVIGATION MEASUREMENT IN PULSE-POSITION RADIO NAVIGATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: radio navigation. SUBSTANCE: method consists in radiation by transmitting station of radio navigation system of radio pulse navigation signals in accordance with time scale formed by reference generator of transmitting station, in reception of signal on mobile object and in measurement of time position of received signals with regard to initial mark of time scale formed by reference generator of mobile object. Auxiliary signal is formed in addition at transmitting station of system which time position is in certain way related to radiated signal, it is received at mobile object, time mark corresponding to moment of reception of auxiliary signal is recorded on time scale of mobile object. Re-radiated signal is received at transmitting station, value of propagation time of auxiliary signal from transmitting station to mobile object is determined with use of measurement of time interval between moment of radiation of auxiliary signal of transmitting station and moment of its return reception. Signal carrying information on time of propagation of auxiliary signal is formed, transmitted to mobile object over radio communication channel where position of initial mark is established in correspondence with transmitted message on time of propagation of auxiliary signal and recorded time of time position of time mark corresponding to time of reception of auxiliary signal. Measurement of time position of received radio pulse navigation signals is taken with reference to this mark. EFFECT: improved authenticity of method. 1 dwg
