FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves checking readiness of controlled gate and rectifying cell to turn-on by command from pulse-phase control system, checking switch-on and subsequent recovery of control of gate when conductance period has been finished, by means of pulse-phase control system by presence of positive potential at anode of controlled gate as reading from low-voltage arm of capacitance divider of its dampening RC-circuit. Power of same arm of capacitance divider is also used for necessary and sufficient power supply of control electrode circuit when controlled gate is rendered conducted. Device is connected to low-voltage arm which simultaneously serves as power supply element, detector of presence and sign of potential at input of controlled gate. Capacitance divider is designed as piece of serial capacitance circuit of dampening RC circuit of each controlled gate to cathode and control electrode of corresponding controlled gate. In addition capacitance detector which serves as power supply is connected in parallel to stabilizing element, serial circuit of indicator, for example, light-emitting diode, current-clipping element and rectifying element. In addition device has control electrode of corresponding controlled gate which is connected through gate, for example transistor, which control circuit has current-clipping element, rectifying element, control gate, for example, photosensitive transistor. Light-emitting diode as indication element is connected to input through light guide. Photosensitive transistor as controlled gate is connected to output of pulse-phase control system also through light guide. Number of devices is equal to number of rectifying cells in converter. Number of light-emitting diodes which provide connection of indication element of controlled gate to input of pulse-phase control system is equal to number of rectifying cells. Number of light-emitting diodes which provide connection of controlled gate of controlled cell to output of pulse-phase control system is equal to number of rectifying cells. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
