FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: inverter has power section using single-phase reversing bridge rectifier circuit set up of dual-operation power diodes interconnected in parallel opposition and connected to supply mains through reactor, as well as polar storage capacitor connected in parallel with supply mains by means of auxiliary diode bridge and in parallel with load by means of four dual-operation switching diodes shorted out by back diodes. Functions of output voltage regulation and input current generation are performed by power and switching diodes; storage capacitor that functions to limit switching voltage surges is used, in addition, to produce correction current in phase opposition to passive components of input current. To this end, capacitor is changed over to mode of double- ended energy exchange with inductive components of supply mains and load in the course of high-frequency alternation and regulation of duration of partial charge and discharge as result of connection of this capacitor in parallel with load through respective pairs of switching diodes. Control circuits of switching diodes are built around single-circuit servo system with control signal having supply voltage waveform depending on active component of load current fundamental and feedback for resulting input current; control pulses picked off output of pulse-width or relay modulators are distributed among switching diodes as function of correction current polarity and polarity of instantaneous output current and voltage. EFFECT: improved output power of dual-operation rectifiers thereby enlarging their functional capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
