FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular licorice root harvesting equipment. SUBSTANCE: cleaning rotor has housing 1 with hooks 5 made from set of plates 6 and 7 of rectangular section. Plates 6 and 7 have central portions 8 and peripheral portions 9. Central portions 8 of plates 6 and 7 are joined one with another, and peripheral portions 9 are bent from joining plane of central portions 8. Front surface of each pair of plates 6 and 7 is inclined toward rear surface. Front and rear surfaces of each hook 5 are conjugated along their arcs of circle. Such construction facilitates effective action of rotor hooks upon root layer of soil. EFFECT: increased yield of commercial product and reduced amount of mineral foreign matter, which may adhere to licorice roots. 3 dwg
