FIELD: manufacture of engines. SUBSTANCE: method allows manufacture of filters from used up old filters by restoration and provides for reliable sealing of filters. Due to rubber ring with orifice arranged inside filter body, filter is always filled with oil when engine is shut down, which is favorable to motor capacity. Used up filter beading is not disturbed during restoration, and internal components of filter are extracted through hole in filter bottom which is then, after washing and filling of filter with internal parts, rolled up with cover and continues to serve as filter bottom. Filter prerestoration dimensions are preserved. Magnetic plate for catching metal particles from oil is superposed on exterior of filter body along mark line above ring orifice. Metal particles precipitate on body inside filter. EFFECT: more effective restoration of filters. 2 cl, 2 dwg
