FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: oil cleaning filter housing is split-type and made from high-strength, heat-resistant polymer material resistant to action of motor oil. In order to ensure strength and stiffness, the housing has varying thickness and is supported with axial, annular and radial stiffeners.
EFFECT: use of such filter allows increasing the housing operating life by replacing only the filter element, reducing the weight of the filter, improving the housing manufacturability and eliminating the need for application of corrosion protective coating.
