FUEL FINE FILTER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: automobile manufacture. SUBSTANCE: filter has casing with filtering member and cover. Casing bottom has opening for drain plug. Casing is made in the form of cylinder. One end of cylinder has sealing rubber ring inserted between casing wall and bottom, and other end is provided with inner rim. Filter is equipped with washer disposed in casing and provided with central threaded opening. Washer has segment-shaped openings allowing washer to be inserted into casing and fuel to flow. Slot is formed in casing side surface, in opposed relation to washer. Drain plug is made in the form of stepped-diameter body of rotation. Rubber ring is arranged on lower step and filtering member biasing spring is arranged on upper step. Filter of such construction is readily disassembled and washed, and filtering member is fast assembled or replaced, and filter is readily returned to initial position. Filter prevents fuel leakage and provides for convenient drainage of sediments. EFFECT: simplified construction, convenient usage and increased efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
