FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used in drilling oil and gas wells. Device has adapter, body, piston, flow direction regulator, unit for protecting device from premature actuation. Flow direction regulator in cooperation with piston and body creates circular chamber. Device is also provided with regulator of volume of upper circular chamber. Aforesaid regulator is made in the form of threaded bush and is located in adapter. Piston is made in the form of differential bush with radial hole. Installed in piston is unit for protecting device from premature actuation. This unit is made up of hollow shear member with balls accommodated inside it, and piston with spherical surface. This surface interacts with circular bore made in body of device. Device makes it possible to install several packers in well and their successive bringing in operation from bottom upwards. Reliability of device operation is also enhanced.
