FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering and is primarily intended for power turbines. Balanced control valve with adjustable value of the axial force acting on the stem comprises a valve box, a valve box cover, an axle box, a balancing cylinder, a piston of the unloading cylinder with piston rings, a valve with a streamlined perforated surface, and a stem. The axle box of the valve includes a balancing cylinder and a guide cap; transverse and longitudinal cuts ensuring the link between the inner cavity of the valve box with the inner cavity of the balancing cylinder are made on the inner surface of the balancing cylinder and the guide cap. The top of the valve is equipped with a centring belt in the form of a ring with a width of 10 to 15 mm, divided into two sectors: one 120° sector is made with a radius equal to the radius of the guide cap, and the other 240° sector is made with a radius 0.3 mm smaller than the radius of the guide cap.
EFFECT: reduction in the load on the drive stem of the valve and control of the magnitude of force acting on the drive stem due to the additional steam load provided when the valve is opened widely.
