FIELD: mechanical engineering; designing and building of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: piston is arranged in cylinder rigidly connected with crankcase. Crankcase accommodates single-throw shaft hinge connected with crankcase covers. Shaft axis intersects cylinder axis at right angle. Middle of crank journal and cylinder axis are located in plane square to shaft axis. One end of connecting rod is hinge connected with piston, and the other end, with crank journal. Axes of all hinge joints are square to plane of rotation of shaft crank. Engine has rod, two carriers and lever hinge connected in the following manner: middle of lever is connected with end of connecting rod and with end of rod whose other end is connected with piston; ends of lever are connected with ends of carriers other ends of which are connected with crankcase. Carriers are arranged at different sides of lever and are directed downwards from its ends. As to length, carriers are made to ratio 1:1; carrier and lever, , lever and crank 2:1.
