FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: engine is intended for designing and building internal combustion engines. A piston is placed in a cylinder rigidly connected with the crankcase. A single-throw shaft hingedly connected with the crankcase covers is placed in the crankcase. The axis of the shaft crosses the axis of the cylinder in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, the connecting rod connected by one end with the neck of the throw, the axes of all hinge connections are perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the throw, wherein the engine is equipped with rods, a drive pin, hingedly interconnected in a certain sequence. The engine includes rods 6 with hinges in connection with the piston 3 and drive pin 7 made double-arm, also hingedly connected with the rods 6, and the second drive pin 9 is rigidly installed on the shaft 8 of the double-arm drive pin 7, wherein the distance between the immovable hinge of the double-arm drive pin 7 and the axis of the single-throw shaft 8 is wherein a is the distance between the axis of the piston and the axis of the double-arm drive pin, and b is the length of the connecting rod, and the angle β between the double-arm drive pin and the second drive pin is determined from the value of sinβ=b/Α.
