FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: grip has cylindrical body which accommodates wedge clamping jaws, jaw displacement rod, driving part and jaw guides. Pairs of holes are made in body at an angle, mirror-like relative to vertical axis of body. Jaws have two opposite cylindrical surfaces. One of surfaces contacts specimen and is made at an angle to jaw axis, equal to an angle of slope of body hole axis, and in parallel to vertical axis of body. Another surface is made in parallel to jaw axis and to axis of body hole. Guides for jaws have cylindrical surface and flat surface for contact with jaw. Jaws are arranged in two holes of body, and guides are positioned in vacant holes. Grip has also ball bearing assembly and flexible member for interaction with rod. Two holes for guides are made on each side relative to body axis. EFFECT: reduced labor consumption in grip manufacture, reduced grip dimensions. 3 cl, 2 dwg
