FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: gripper to fix specimen for tension testing has cylindrical body housing wedge gripping jaws, two guides, as minimum, for gripping jaws installed in holes made in body at angle mirror relative to its vertical axis on each side, rod and drive part. Guides of gripping jaw come in the form of linear bearing units, spring-loaded from opposite side. Drive part is implemented in the form of eccentric mechanism of displacement of body. Eccentric of this eccentric mechanism is fixed on axis mounted for turn in hole of rod, body is spring-loaded relative to rod and separable rest is put on body for interaction between body and eccentric. Separable rest can be of different height. EFFECT: raised reliability of fixing specimens of various materials with high degree of hardness, improved operational convenience and speed of specimen fixing. 2 dwg
