FIELD: railway transport; long-distance train passenger cars with vestibules. SUBSTANCE: passengers can get into vestibules at ends of cars through side vestibule doors along several step plates. Vestibules are separated from side passenger of car by vestibule door to skew passage and door of side passage and by connecting skew passages at each end of car. Entrance into passenger compartment is provided from side passage. Toilet rooms and service compartment are arranged between vestibule door to skew passage and door of side passage. At least. At least one pair of vestibule side doors is furnished with lifting mechanisms for invalid passengers, and vestibule at this end of car is made with dimensions greater than those of other end. Door of vestibule to skew passage and side passage door are made to pass invalid chairs, and side passage is made with widening in its end area owing to change in depth of at least one passenger compartment furnished with wider sliding door to which toilet room adjoins, with access for passengers in invalid chairs from side of passenger compartment and/or area between vestibule door to passage and door of side passage. This passenger compartment is made elongated to permit accommodation of one invalid passenger in invalid chair and his companion. Door of this compartment is located in widened area of side passage Niche - shaped widening of compartment is provided with seat or sleeping berth.
